What should I wear for this tour?
Lightweight, breathable cotton clothing is best. However, if you plan to enter any temples near Koggala Lake, please bring a sarong or scarf to cover your shoulders and knees.
Can the itinerary be customized?
Absolutely. As this is a private tour, we can adjust the time spent at each location or swap stops based on your preferences.
When is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka is a year-round destination, but it depends on the coast. For the West/South coast and Hill Country, the best time is December to March. For the East coast, the best time is May to September.
How many days are ideal for a tour?
Most websites recommend 10 to 14 days to cover the “Cultural Triangle,” the Hill Country (Ella/Nuwara Eliya), and the southern beaches.
What is a "Poya Day"?
Poya occurs every full moon and is a public holiday. On these days, no alcohol is sold or served in public places (including hotels), and some shops may be closed.
Can I take photos with Buddha statues?
You can take photos of the statues, but it is considered highly disrespectful to pose with your back turned to a Buddha statue (e.g., for a selfie). Always face the statue or take photos of it from a distance.
